A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT SCOTT BLAKE
3:14 PM 01/26/2025
Congratulations to the Constables who won their 2024 elections. Congratulations to those that faced challenges and prevailed.
Earlier this month, we wrapped up our 2025 Winter Conference, held in Tucson, Arizona. The conference was an outstanding success. In this conference we welcomed 15 newly elected Constables.
Constable Smith from Navajo County was awarded the Constable of the Year. Linda Kuczynski from Coconino County was awarded Support Staff of the Year.
Our beef raffle was an outstanding success. Thank you to all those who sold tickets. The Arizona Constables Association presented three scholarships at the Conference. Constable Ron Williams' daughter, Reese Williams, was an honored recipient as well as Michael Hoggard's grand-daughter Emma Hoggard and Leya Lester, Constable David Lester's daughter.
We are grateful to the El Conquistador hotel in Tucson for exceeding our expectations for our winter conference. The Association will be returning in January of 2026.
During our business meeting we held an election to fill the vacancy left by Constable McCloskey retiring. Constable Tracy Nielsen from Pima county was voted by the membership to fill the rest of his term.
I would like to personally thank everyone who works on the ACA board. With the entire board’s efforts, we had a tremendously successful conference for our newly elected Constables and returning veterans. I look forward to working with our newest board member and making our July conference a huge success.
Our next semi-annual training will be held in 2025 at the Prescott Resort between July 28th - July 31st. Please save this date and check back later this year for more information and registration forms.
